Departure from the top of the gondola. Passage through the village of Aï, the refreshment bar of Mayen and the restaurant of Les Fers, then descend to the village of Leysin, taking the famous goat path.
Take the gondola up to the top of the Berneuse and enjoy the impressive views, as well as the panoramic Kuklos revolving restaurant, which allows you to tour the Alps in 1.5 hours without leaving the comfort of your table. The hike begins with a slightly steep descent towards Aï Lake, with a fine view of the first tower, the Tour d'Aï. The path continues towards Mayen Lake and passes Buvette d'Aï, a historic site as well as a refreshment bar in the summer. Allow around 30 minutes from the top of the Berneuse to Mayen, where a short break in the refuge is most welcome. From the Mayen refuge, with its breathtaking views of Leysin's emblematic towers - the Tour d'Aï and the Tour de Mayen - there's a short, challenging climb followed by a magnificent section of lapiaz - karstic rock formations - with a view of the third Tour de Famelon. Descend via the Les Fers restaurant, where a well-deserved rest is in order, followed by a descent via Brion to the start of the ski lifts.
