This easy walk, starting in the city centre, follows the Grande-Eau to the World Cycling Centre on the banks of the Rhône.
Leave your car at the Glariers car park. You will see the bridge over the Grande-Eau river; this is where the walk starts, on the small, flat grassy path that runs alongside the river and leads you to the Rhône.
After a good kilometre, the path passes under the train tracks. From here you join the path again at the top of the hill, directly to the left. The path gradually becomes more stony and a suitable pushchair is required. If you don't have one, you can take the tarmac path below which is also used by a few vehicles. Continue along the river and you will arrive at the place called "La Mêlée" where the Grande-Eau flows into the Rhône.
Continue to the left. After about 800 metres you will come to the World Cycling Centre (WCC). You can visit it for free and enjoy a well-deserved break on the terrace of the restaurant "Le Vélodrome". Afterwards, you can take the bus back to the city centre or extend the ride.
