Is Jean-Claude Hurni better known for his wines or his music? Those who know him well may have the answer but, in both cases, it is a question of passion.
Jean-Claude Hurni’s passion for grapes helped extract three white wines from the Chasselas leading variety, two reds and a Pinot Noir Rosé, a Dornfelder matured in wood barrels and a Gewürztraminer. For almost ten years the grapes are cultivated using the biodynamic farming method. This method, which is close to nature, links the work with the phases of the moon, without the intrusion of chemical elements.
As for his passion for music, it is at its peak during "Chenevières-sur-Scène". Every summer in Vully, songs and poetry, wind and string instruments alternate on the Vallamand wine estate. An environment to be discovered, moments to share, thanks to the music and the conviviality.
