Accessible on skis in winter and on foot in summer, the stunning mountain location of the refuge makes for an enchanting haven. High above Leysin, nestled inbetween the rugged peaks of the Tour d’Aï and Mayen, the refuge is run by the Chablaix family with an accent on traditional cheese dishes as well as on Belgian gastronomy.
Above all the Mayen Refuge is just a fabulous place to stop. Whether taking a break between ski runs or during a hike, you will be sure to enjoy traditional Swiss dishes made with their very own cheeses. Speciality Belgian beers are also on the menu.
In summer you’ll find a play area right next to the terrace as well as a small animal park. Kids will be in their element while parents can make the most of relaxing moments sitting in the sun.
