Are you nervous on descents ? Do you love the mountains but find it hard to link up several passes in a day ? Learning some basic mountain-riding techniques can greatly improve your cycling experience. Come and discover them in this "mountain" technical workshop with Lillie Rumpf (Cycling Heidi on social media), a certified Swiss Cycling guide !
Take advantage of this workshop on the beautiful hidden roads of the Alpes Vaudoises to improve your technique on the way up and down ! This half-day is ideal for women, but is open to everyone. You'll need to be in good physical shape (climb about 1000 metres) to take part.
It's perfect for beginners who have already taken part in the basic workshop, or for more experienced cyclists who would like to feel more comfortable on their bikes.
During this workshop, you'll learn how to :
- Manage your effort on climbs
- Improve your cornering and braking technique on descents
- Avoid pain (back, neck, feet, hands)
- Eat correctly to avoid "bar crashes".
Over a drink (during the break), other elements can be discussed depending on the level and interests of the participants. After this workshop, you'll not only have more confidence but also more fun. Gravel bikes are welcome, but this workshop is devoted to perfecting road technique.
