In summer, Leysin stands out for its downhill mountain biking, with trails carefully prepared by the Leysin Bike Park team. For altitude enthusiasts, Leysin has numerous climbing routes for all levels, as well as two via ferrata, including the one at Tour d'Aï, which offers a magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains. In winter, skiing and snowboarding are king here, with the Leysin-Les Mosses-La Lécherette ski area boasting over 100km of pistes for all levels. Leysin is also world-renowned for its freestyle offering and the famous LeysinPark, featuring the only Olympic half-pipe in French-speaking Switzerland. Every year, LeysinPark plays host to top-level international competitions, including the 2020 YOG (Youth Olympic Games).
On the way to Pays-d'Enhaut, stop off at Col des Mosses and let yourself be charmed by this charming authentic village, nestling between Pic Chaussy and Mont d'Or. All year round, you'll discover a natural environment that invites you to recharge your batteries in complete serenity. In summer, enjoy a refreshing walk around Lake Lioson, known as "the pearl of the Alpine lakes". From June to August, the village comes alive every Sunday with the Marché-Brocante, where you can find typical Swiss treasures. In winter, Les Mosses is covered in a blanket of white for your enjoyment. Discover the magic of snowshoeing or try your hand at cross-country skiing and biathlon at the Maison de l'Espace Nordique des Alpes Vaudoises. The Col des Mosses is also a paradise for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. There are wide slopes for the whole family to enjoy. The free ski bus between the Solepraz piste in Leysin and the Parchet piste in Les Mosses takes just 30 minutes.
