The vineyard path of Vully guides the walkers on the marked-out trail over a dozen kilometers, divided into several itineraries. At the end of the “Pinot Noir” journey, two panels provide a lot of information on the Vully vineyards and its wines.
With its 150 hectares, Vully is often known as “the smallest of the big wine regions of Switzerland”. This does not take away from the quality of the harvest that benefits from its proximity to Lake Morat. Indeed, the lake guarantees a pleasant climate and a good exposure to the sun by equally reflecting its rays on the vines.
Another particularity of the Vully vineyard is that it straddles the Cantons of Vaud and Fribourg. The Vaudois wine producers share 46 hectares of vines, half of which are used to cultivate Chasselas, the favourite white wine of the inhabitants.
