In the midst of the meadows, Prafandaz is a wonderful retreat located betwixt lake and mountains and only a few minutes away from Leysin. For the perfect detour on a mountain walk, after an outing on snowshoes or even after a drive in the car, this chalet restaurant welcomes all foodies with a warm smile.
Nestling above the village of Leysin, Prafandaz Restaurant and the adjacent plateau enjoy a view which is a real head turner ! Plunging downwards to Lake Léman on one side; it rises up to the eternal snows of Mont-Blanc and Dents-du-Midi on the other.
The menu is full of suprises and includes a gala of fondues. For the purists, the classic cheese fondue is the star of the show but for a change you should really try the versions with a twist such as fondue with champagne and boletus mushrooms.
