La Rambertia is one of the nature attractions found at Les Rochers-de-Naye, less than an hour by train from Montreux. La Rambertia botanical gardens are situated between two rocky outcrops at the top of Les Rochers-de-Naye (2,045 m) on a steep slope of 400 m2 overlooking the valley.

Founded in 1896, La Rambertia is a tribute to Eugène Rambert (1830-1886), historian, teacher, story-teller and poet, who wrote “Les Alpes suisses”, published in 5 volumes, comprising scientific observations but also historical stories, musings and poetry.
