To get a real flavour of the « Far North » experience there’s nothing better than having a meal in Leysin Tobogganing Park’s Yurt. From the decor and the fireplace to the tasty menu and the landlord’s house wine, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Located in the heart of the Tobogganing Park, the Yurt is made entirely from wood in fine Finnish tradition. Inside, the decoration alone is enough to warm you up already. Reindeer skins, light and wooden sculptures make this a truly magical place and the glass fronted woodburning fireplace in the middle of the yurt ensures a cosy atmosphere.
In the daytime you can enjoy a snack menu as you take a break from tobogganing. In the evening the menu is transformed. For something exotic, try the Lapland speciality of salmon cooked on an open fire. For diehard cheese fans, a fondue festival awaits : with wild garlic, bolete mushrooms, truffles,…
The Yurt can be booked for groups of friends or companies alike. An added bonus of coming to this original restaurant is that you can also enjoy a few moonlit toboggan rides inbetween courses !
