In the unspoilt resort of Les Mosses, the entirely wooden church located at the foot of the ski pistes welcomes its faithful as well as music lovers.
In the mountains, most of the homes are chalets, and built of wood. The Les Mosses Church simply follows this tradition. It is built principally of wood in the « Heimatstil » style. The roof is also typical of the region made up of wooden shingles, hand crafted small planks of wood laid one on top of the other which completely cover the structural woodwork.
Today the Ormonts parish still holds regular services here. The church is also renowned for its acoustic qualities and puts on many public concerts.
