During the summer and winter, Rougemont station is used regularly by locals, tourists and sportsmen and women. The train from Montreux stops here every hour, as do the trains from Gstaad, even more regularly. Those coming by car enjoy free parking for up to 7 days.
In addition to the standard trains, GoldenPass Classic and GoldenPass Panoramic trains run to Rougemont station. The first takes travelers back to the Belle Epoque period, while the second makes it easy to look out at the countryside thanks to its large windows. These themed trains carry on this railway’s traditions, whose origins (at the beginning of the 20th century) were linked to the arrival of the first tourists.
For those on the wine walk, welcome to the starting line! Before leaving make sure your smartphone is properly charged (or have a charger), equip yourself with walking shoes and water. Enjoy the stroll!
