With simplicity and passion, Bernard Chevalley cultivates two hectares of vines in accordance with nature, according to the principles of integrated production. Planted on sloping terraces, his vines can only be looked after by hand, without using any machinery.
Ready to promote his business and his products, the winemaker welcomes up to 14 visitors to his “carnotzet” (a convivial place typical of the Vaud canton) on request. For a full wine tourism stay in the heart of the Lavaux UNESCO region, a charming apartment is also available on the winemaker's land.
Bernard Chevalley produces a limited but high quality range from his harvest: five “crus” and two brandies. For white wines, a dry Chasselas and a mild Chasselas are blended as well as Viognier, rare and very expressive grapes. The red wine amateur will love the "Noble Plants" and "La Benjamie" blends, aged in barrels.
