Ideally located at the crossroads of several cultural routes and tourist attractions as well as close to the main cities of the canton, the region of Yverdon-les-Bains offers an authentic terroir, many discovery activities and unforgettable experiences to enjoy. For wine fans, our two wine appellations have become renowned and offer a quality choice. In Bonvillars, a lovely little village near Lake Neuchâtel, the beautiful vineyards and the charming villages invite you to a stroll. Further south, the region of Côtes de l’Orbe features a unique terroir, picturesque hamlets and great vintages.
Apart from the large-scale historical monuments, such as the castle of Grandson and the abbey church of Romainmôtier, terroir gems delight gourmets, who are surprised to be offered truffles, salt flutes and many other local specialties in the region’s good restaurants.
