A green oasis to discover more about the natural and cultural heritage of the region, La Maison de la Rivière is waiting for you on the banks of Le Boiron, one of the most studied rivers in Switzerland. In the middle of nature and very close to Lake Léman, the museum welcomes everyboday to teach them about aquatic life.
You will find scientific explanations and historical anecdotes in the permanent exhibition, as well as lake and river water aquariums or the F.A.-Forel submarine, built by Jacques Piccard's team, which was used to study the bottom of Lake Léman.
The visit continues outdoors with an educational pond, birdhouses and aquariums that are integrated to the river and reveal the life of its inhabitants.
Children are not forgotten, because Trutta, the mischievous mascot, guides them from exhibit to exhibit, with various interactive games.
