A new wine tourism trail is an excellent way to explore the vineyards of La Côte (AOC).
On this leisurely walk between Nyon and Rolle, visitors are guided by their smartphone to four picturesque villages. They can follow two 5.5 km circuits on the Luins-Begnins and Vinzel-Bursins routes, sampling La Côte (AOC) wines and discovering castles and superb panoramas as they walk. They will also learn more about regional wine-growing methods, local history and gastronomic traditions.
This offer is added to 9 other wine tourism walks already offered throughout the region, all available on the Vaud: Guide app.
Also, a new event will take place on 29 June on the route of the Morges Vineyard Walk: Au fil du goût, a gourmet walk starting from Morges station, which will take visitors through wine-growing villages selected for their vintages and their exceptional locations. At each of the six stages, participants can sip or munch regional specialities, and answer multiple-choice questions to win prizes at the end of the trail. The price is CHF 49 for an adult and CHF 24 for children aged 12 to 16.
