The Maison Lavaux exhibition takes place in the historic Buttin-de-Loës property in Grandvaux.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the world of this vineyard, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.
The exhibition is divided into several themes. The first room is about the physical landscape of the Lavaux vineyard, shaped for over a thousand years by the winegrowers. The second room focuses on the human aspect, with a large fresco presenting the population that gives life to this territory. Finally, the last room offers a cross-section of artists attached to this unique heritage.
The Maison Lavaux welcomes visitors from September 1 to October 31, 2021, every afternoon from Wednesday to Sunday. It will be closed during the winter and will reopen on April 6, 2022 until October 30, 2022. The visit costs CHF 10.00 per person from 16 years and older and can be done with an audioguide, available in three languages (FR, DE, EN) that can be downloaded on smartphones. An exhibition booklet and a fun booklet for children are offered.
