All fans of winter hiking in Switzerland are familiar with the SuisseMobile network. Perfectly marked trails allow you to explore the canton of Vaud on foot, with snowshoes or cross-country skis, by combining your individual physical effort with the discovery of breathtaking natural landscapes.
SuisseMobile is a major national trail network focusing on soft mobility. The success of SuisseMobile is based on clearly marked paths and digital tools that allow you to organise your sports outing down to the last detail. As soon as the snow covers our region, SuisseMobile starts signposting the winter trails throughout the country, which you can then follow on foot, with cross-country skis or snowshoes. Whatever your style or physical level, you will experience great pleasure when exploring unspoiled, pristine landscapes in the inimitable calm of winter. In the canton of Vaud, about 40 trails are marked with pink signs (hiking and snowshoeing), turquoise ones (cross-country ski tracks) and lilac-blue ones (sled runs). They offer an opportunity to get a breath of fresh air, combined with a good traditional meal in a welcoming mountain restaurant.
