The Municipality of Vully-les-Lacs was created in 2011 out of the fusion of 7 villages of Vully vaudois : Bellerive, Chabrey, Constantine, Montmagny, Mur, Vallamand and Villars-le Grand. Two villages at the extremity of Vully-les-Lacs are shared with the Canton of Fribourg, a typical particularlty of the Three-Lakes-Country. Ideally situated between Lakes Morat and Neuchatel, the young municipality lives mainly from wine growing, agriculture and tourism. An integral part of the wine region of Vully, its vineyards of 50 hectares produce well-known quality wines. This terroir, along with the lake scenery of great beauty, are the main ingredients of the dynamic tourism of Vully-les-Lacs.
