Visit and booking

- As the number of people per tour is limited, booking is strongly recommended.
- Audio guides are available in French, German, Italian and English (while stocks last).
- Booklets are available in French, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Dutch.
- Length of visit 3 hours and 30 minutes over a 500 m route, including 1 hour at the Tavern to enjoy brunch

Recommendations

- We recommend sports shoes and warm clothing for the visit.
- The indoor temperature is 18°C at any time of year. The rooms and galleries are well lit and naturally ventilated.
- Pets are not allowed.
- During the visit, people prone to claustrophobia would possibly experience discomfort.

Accessibility

- For people with reduced mobility, please indicate this when booking.
- Visits are possible for all ages. For safety reasons, visitors must be able to move around inside the Mines without aids such as wheelchairs, walkers or pushchairs.

Public transport

- Bus 152 (Bex - Fenalet) : Les Mines de Sel is served on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as on Fasting Mondays, from Bex SBB station, ‘Bex, Mines de Sel’ stop. On other days of the week, the ‘Les Dévens’ stop, then a 25-minute walk uphill.
