With its shape inspired by the movement of an athlete, Olympic House is one of the most sustainable buildings in the world.
Designed to reflect the IOC's global mission to make the world a better place through sport, it brings together all 500 IOC staff members under one roof. With this new building, the IOC also confirms its commitment to Lausanne, the Olympic Capital. This provides the region with an architecturally emblematic site and is becoming an essential part of Louis-Bourget Park, which welcomes a large number of visitors every year. The IOC now has two Olympic sites in Lausanne. One in Ouchy dedicated to the general public, comprising the Olympic Museum and the Olympic Studies Centre, and the other in Vidy to provide a welcoming meeting place for IOC members and the entire Olympic Movement.
