The estate has been located above the charming village of Epesses, in the heart of the terraced vineyards of Lavaux UNESCO, for four generations. Easily accessible by public transport and car, the site offers an enchanting view of Lake Geneva and the vineyards.
The Gaillard family’s estate is a truly heavenly place, which is why they have specialised in welcoming guests. Naturally, the estate is certified by Vaud Œnotourisme. Due to the great number of requests, the family has specialised in organising visits to the beautiful Lavaux UNESCO vineyards, either on foot, by boat or tourist train. But they also offer tasting sessions in their cellar, which can be combined with a meal from the village restaurant or a catering service. Gaillard & Son have even established a Privilege Club comprising the sponsorship of a vine. They also offer a beautifully appointed little house for exclusive stays.
The Gaillard estate is not only about welcoming guests but also high-quality and original wines. It is one of the few estates that grows the Charmont and Galotta varietals, which are rare in Lavaux. To complement their range of wines, there are delicious reds and, among the whites, no less than six Chasselas from various terroirs as well as other specialties.
