The Arboretum spans over 200 hectares on the hillsides of La Côte vineyard between Morges and Nyon. The landscaped park provides free access to 3000 trees along its educational walks. A museum and welcome centre with exhibition, conference and reception rooms complete this magical site.
Unique in Switzerland, the Arboretum presents almost 3,000 trees from the temperate eco-systems of the whole world - Europe, Japan, USA – which flourish in the verdant Vallon de l’Aubonne. Walkers can choose between three marked routes with information display panels and tempting picnic sites.
The Museum of Wood and Arbr’espace, a management and reception centre, provides invaluable additional information on all aspects of arboriculture. In Arbr’espace, a reception, a shop and a café facilitate visits to the park. A gallery of almost 200 m2 presents exhibitions. This space is available for private functions as is the Espace Pierre Arnold (a fully-equipped conference room for fifty people as a class or 120 people in a theatre configuration), the Petite Salle (room for meetings of around twenty people), the Salle de Fête (for receptions of up to 150 people) and the Refuge (with space for meetings of from thirty to forty people).
