Abracadabra… and poof !… No, don’t worry, the children won’t disappear but the magic potion they create will be testament to their fabulous imagination. Betwixt bubbling cauldron and quilted cloak, the Château’s wizard will reveal all his many secrets as well as the fascinating history of Aigle’s prime historic monument.
In Aigle Château’s majestic courtyard, the Square Tower is already a daunting sight. But when you add a real live wizard to the mix the children are doubly awestruck. It’s an awfully long climb up the 180 steps to the top of the tower but once at the top, the doors to the laboratory finally open.
For the impetuous, making a magic potion is no piece of cake. The children need to smell, to mix and even to call upon the wizard’s magic powers to produce an elixir. Watch out for a big bang ! It’s not uncommon to see smoke pouring out of the grand tower.
And while the kids are enjoying themselves, Mum and Dad can take time out to visit the Château and its vine and wine museum or make the most of some precious free time relaxing on the Pinte du Paradis restaurant terrace.
