The winegrowers' train offers its customers an experience combining a seasonal menu and a wine tasting presented by a local winegrower.
An offer to be discovered six times a year, on Saturdays.
On board the historic BAM trains that link Morges to Bière, the Train des Vignerons takes its passengers on a food and wine pairing excursion in the company of a winegrower.
This new gastronomic offer gives pride of place to local craftsmen and allows passengers to meet a winegrower, while sharing a meal and his wines with him. The Artisans Cuisiniers de Bière concoct a menu according to the seasons. The dishes develop the most subtle combinations of local products and wines to be discovered. For two and a half hours, the guest winemaker presents his wines, talks about his profession and his passion, and exchanges with the travellers. During the journey, the view of Lake Geneva, the Jura and the vineyards enhances this unique and rare experience.
The Train des Vignerons is offered six times a year, on fixed dates on Saturdays. Departure is at 11:44 a.m. sharp from Morges station in the retro train made up of period vehicles and arrival in Bière is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. Once in Bière, it is possible to extend the outing with a walk to discover the region and the Pied du Jura or to return to Morges by regular train.
