The private establishments contribute one and a half billion francs a year to the economy of the canton of Vaud. This figure is based on a recent KPMG survey, to which some forty of these establishments responded, accounting for around 60% of the pupils and students enrolled in the canton’s private schools (approximately 20,000 people).
