For preseason skiing nothing beats Glacier 3000, accessible by cable car. At the summit, the panorama of the Alps is simply awesome, and the ski runs unfold before skiers and snowboarders, certain to experience a feeling of freedom and unique snow sliding thrills!
From altitudes of 3,000 to 1,000 metres the ski area of the Alps of the Lake Geneva Region covers a distance of approximately 225 km suited to all categories of skiers. If at Les Diablerets and Villars snowboard fans can line up one jump after another or freestyle to their heart’s content, Leysin pampers them in particular.
Extending over 65 km, the Jurassic runs, at altitudes ranging from 1,000 to 1,700 m, are adapted for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Beginners will learn with no problem on the gentle slopes of La Dôle, Mont-Tendre and Chasseron, where rolling or steeper runs befit expert skiers as well. The lighted runs of St-Cergue and Ste-Croix-les Rasses allow night skiing.
