New 4 star hotel in Villars

The Villars Alpine Resort (VAR), which already includes the Villars Lodge, has a new establishment since December 2021, the Victoria Hotel & Residence 4* with an elegant and minimalist design.

Opening on 17 December 2021 of the 4 star Victoria Hotel & Residence in Villars. Nestled in the heart of a spectacular mountain setting with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif, the Dents-du-Midi and the Grand Muveran, the four star hotel is a perfect blend of elegance and minimalism. Its approach is distinguished by a strong commitment to tourism that is respectful of the environment, and an offering that combines creativity and comfort.
The hotel has 150 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, a relaxation and wellness area with an indoor pool, and several flexible workspaces.
The natural wood construction and the touches of greenery such as the vertical gardens at the entrance are designed to create a real haven of peace and creativity for the traveller looking forward to some time out.

The two restaurants and the bar of the Victoria Hotel & Residence offer dishes based on local products and aim to reduce kitchen waste to a minimum. The Ticino chef Mirto Marchesi, who worked in the kitchens of Chalet Adrien in Verbier and was awarded a Michelin star, offers responsible and gourmet cuisine. He is responsible for designing the menu of Peppino, an artisanal trattoria that honours the most emblematic transalpine flavours.

Previously known as the 3 star Eurotel-Victoria, the hotel is unveiling its new incarnation to the public this winter. It joins the Villars Alpine Resort (VAR) following the opening of the Villars Lodge in 2019, a family-friendly hotel located nearby in the village. The VAR is an innovative alpine resort that promotes education, culture and sustainable development. In 2022, the Villars Palace, which is currently under renovation, will complete the Villars Alpine Resort and will also host the resort’s educational establishment, the Villars Palace Academy. The Academy will offer an innovative programme of professional education and training in partnership with the EHL hospitality management school in Lausanne.
